On September 27, 2011 we were invited by the Detroit Red Wings and the Grand Rapids Griffins to attend the Red Wings' "Red & White" Game at the Van Andel Arena.  After the game they invited us down by the locker room to meet the players.  Jarod is a HUGE fan!  What an exciting night this was for us!
Jarod is a fish!!  His all-time favorite thing to do is SWIM.  Mark put this video together of pictures and video of Jarod swimming at the Hudsonville High School pool - he's fortunate enough to be able to go there quite often.  :)
We were blessed to be interviewed by a local news broadcast for MPS Awareness Day on May 15, 2011.  We are a newly diagnosed family, but we are trying to get the word out!
