How can you help?
Have you seen Jarod and Caleb's story and would like to help somehow? Join Team Jarod/Team Caleb! What is TJ/TC, you ask? It's a virtual "team" of people who are willing to support Jarod and Caleb in whatever way they can. Would you be willing to do one or more of the following? Then welcome to Team Jarod/Team Caleb!
1. Pray! Pray for the children afflicted with this horrible disease. Pray for their family and friends as they face so many struggles on a daily basis. Pray for the researchers and doctors working to find a treatment for Sanfilippo Syndrome and a cure for MPS diseases in general.
2. Volunteer! We will be working to put together events to raise awareness of Sanfilippo Syndrome and all MPS diseases and raise funds for the research. Would you be willing to create and/or work an event? Contact us and we'll put something together. We will need many hands and voices to get the work done! We are just in our beginning stages, so check back later for more opportunities.
3. Donate! Use the donation form below to make a donation that will help our family with medical expenses, therapies, respite and multiple trips to Minneapolis and Chicago to work with specialists. We are also working on setting up an account where donations can be made to help fund research. In the meantime, consider making a donation to the MPS Society, Team Sanfilippo or Jonah's Just Begun - all great foundations working to get researchers the resources they need to make a breakthrough in finding a treatment and ultimately a cure. 4. How about a Team Jarod/Team Caleb t-shirt?? We now have dark gray shirts with our "Team Jarod/Team Caleb" logo (the logo is white and purple, purple is the awareness color for MPS diseases). Would you or your family like to support the team by wearing one of our shirts? They have the team logo on the front and our website name on the back. Price is $15. You can now purchase the shirts online or you can send an email to tina@teamjarod.org with sizes and quantities and an address to send to. Make checks payable to "Team Jarod". When I receive your email I'll give you an address to mail the check to. Proceeds from the sale of the t-shirts will go to the Team Jarod account to benefit Jarod and Caleb and assist with new medical and travel expenses, therapies, respite, etc.
